You may have an opportunity to design a composition for the laser cutter for extra credit. All designs must be 8×8 inches.

Stroke Weight= 0.0005 in

You may need to change your stroke units to inches under user preferences.

Your objects should not have a fill. The only thing that will cause the machine to make a cut is a path with a stroke weight of 0.0005 in. Any other graphic elements in your file could cause your file to not cut.
